Meet Sindy Collazo, OIS’s New Associate Director of Hispanic Ministries!

The Office of Ignatian Spirituality, a ministry of the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus, is excited to welcome Sindy Collazo as its new Associate Director of Hispanic Ministries.

Sindy brings her own deep formation in Ignatian spirituality and extensive experience with the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola to the OIS team. She received a master’s degree in theology from Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and an MBA from La Universidad Interamericana. She was also a member of the “Equipo Pastoral para la Nueva Evangelización” of the former New York Jesuit Province (now the USA East Province).

In her new role, Sindy will support the Comunidades Hispanas Ignacianas. She will also help OIS integrate more bilingual programing across its initiatives. In particular, she will help strengthen OIS’s communications in Spanish, and she will work with OIS’s Ignatian Young Adult Ministries to translate existing programs to develop new Spanish program offerings.
