“Santa Maria del Camino,” is a traditional Marian hymn that was part of my childhood in Chile. My devotion to Mary was informed by that hymn. We sang it so many times. Multiple times. Every Sunday! The song begins with an important reminder:
We are not alone in our journey.
Mary walks with us.
In our struggles,
when we are discouraged,
we are invited to pray:
ven con nosotros a caminar
come as we journey along our way.
