Ignatian Prayer, Spirituality and Spiritual Direction

July 8 - 12, 2024
at Loyola Hall on the Canisius College Campus, Buffalo, NY

This course introduces Ignatian contemplative prayer found throughout the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.  It combines experience in prayer, reflection on experience, discernment, and spiritual direction with theological underpinnings of each element.  The course is intended for persons who seek a personal relationship with Jesus as the foundation for their discipleship and/or ministry. It can serve as a refresher for those who have made the Spiritual Exercises. It can also be the gateway for making the 19th Annotation Retreat from September 2024- May 2025 and ongoing formation in the discernment of becoming a spiritual director.
