Gonzaga Eastern Point Retreat House

Gonzaga Eastern Point Retreat House is a Jesuit retreat center located in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

30-Day Retreat:

The full Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius is offered annually in January and July.

Type: 30-Day Retreat

Format: Individual, silent retreat

Dates: Eastern Point offers the 30-Day Retreat twice each year. The 2024/2025 retreat schedule is:

  • January 3 - February 6, 2025 (applications due by October 1, 2024)

  • June 22 – July 27, 2025 (applications due by March 1, 2025)

  • [Applications are also being accepted for 2026, although the exact dates are not yet set.]

Notes: Each retreat includes an orientation day at the beginning and two days of review at the end. Retreatants are expected to participate for the entire program. Applicants for the Spiritual Exercises must have made several week-long, individually-directed, silent retreats and currently be receiving on-going spiritual direction. Because space is limited and the application process lengthy, a preliminary application must be submitted by October 1 for the subsequent "January" retreat and by March 1 for the subsequent "July" retreat.
