OIS Welcomes Joe Williams to the role of Director of Communications and Advancement
The Office of Ignatian Spirituality (OIS), a ministry of the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus, is excited to welcome Joe Williams as its new Director of Communications and Advancement.
Joe has worked for OIS since August 2019, bringing his years of digital communications experience to support and enhance a variety of OIS projects including our many videos and live streams, The Jesuit Lectionary, and our podcast reflection series.
Previously, Joe was a staff member with the Paulist Fathers’ young adult outreach ministry, BustedHalo.com. Joe has also worked as a middle school teacher on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona and as an education volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa. Joe lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife and two children, where they are parishioners at Our Lady of Hope Jesuit Parish.
Joe takes over this position from Henry Frank. We are grateful and indebted to Henry for his many years of hard work and service to OIS.
Join us in congratulating Joe on this new role. Joe can be reached at jwilliams1@jesuits.org.
