Video Reflections for Lent and Easter 2020

The 40 days of Lent are an opportunity to deepen our spiritual lives and, as St. Ignatian would say in the Exercises, “to reflect and to take advantage” of the richness of the readings that we will hear. Let us all join our prayers together, in our native languages but as one community, beginning with these short video reflections on the Sunday Gospels.

Watch as Carlos Aedo and Zandra Schiemann from Comunidades Hispanas Ignacianas reflect on the Gospels of Lent.

Easter 2020 Video Reflection

"Alleluia!  Christ is risen! The Paschal Mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus is the lifeline of the Church; it is the reason for our hope. It is not death that destroyed Christ, but Christ who destroyed death. If Easter is going to affect our lives, then we must choose to believe this. We must choose light over darkness, hope over despair, and joy over sadness."

Watch as Rev. George Witt, S.J., reflects on Easter in this video for OIS's Comunidades Hispanas Ignacianas
