During this online Lenten Retreat for Ignatian Spiritual Directors, retreat leader Vinita Hampton Wright and over 100 participants explored how to move toward greater spiritual freedom by working through the unfreedoms that can be stumbling blocks along our spiritual paths.  Wright’s insights along with the experience of participants provided a rich offering of wisdom on ways of working toward greater spiritual freedom.

About Our Retreat Leader

Vinita Hampton Wright is a retired book editor and an author of various fiction and nonfiction books. For more than two decades she has led retreats and workshops on writing, creativity, and spirituality. During her 22 years at Loyola Press, she became well acquainted with Ignatian spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises, and she received her certificate in spiritual direction from Loyola University Chicago. She now lives in northwest Arkansas with her husband and various pets. She continues to write, teaches online editing courses for the University of Chicago, and serves as spiritual companion for people in person and online.
