A Conversation Among Spiritual Directors of Color

Saturday, May 11, 2024, 10:00 AM 1:00 PM, Eastern

Special Guest: Dr. Cynthia Bailey Manns (read bio below)

This special virtual conversation among Spiritual Directors of Color provided an opportunity to share about what brought us to spiritual direction and our experiences as Spiritual Directors of Color. We supported and learned from each other as we discussed the challenges and opportunities we face as well as our hopes and desires.

This gathering invited us to come together to

  • talk about what it means to be Spiritual Directors of Color;

  • support and collaborate with one another;

  • discuss culturally specific experiences which affect the dynamic of spiritual direction;

  • articulate the challenges we face as well as our desires;

  • connect, share experiences, and learn from each other;

  • build community and share in fellowship;

  • begin to form a nurturing community and cultivate a spirit of hope.

Registration for this conversation is limited to those who identify as Spiritual Directors of Color.
