The Office of Ignatian Spirituality (OIS) is committed to supporting spiritual directors in their work and to making spiritual direction more widely available. This workshop is the second in a series of opportunities for ongoing formation for current and future spiritual directors.

For those attending in person, the workshop will be held in Reilly Hall, Room 446. You may park in Lot F, which is in front of Grewen Hall, or Lot P, near the Panasci Family Chapel (click here to view a campus map). Please enter Reilly Hall (right of Grewen Hall's main doors) and walk up one flight of stairs. Reilly Room, 446 will be on the right.

OIS is committed to making this opportunity available to as many people as possible within the spiritual direction community. There are options for both individuals and groups to participate.

  • Individuals
    • In Person: Register to participate in this workshop in person at Le Moyne College. We will send you additional details closer to the event.
    • Online: Register to participate in this workshop live online from anywhere. In the week prior to the workshop, we will send you a link to join the workshop online, along with instructions for how to join the workshop live online
  • Groups
    • Register as a Local Partner: If you are a pastor, educator, or volunteer, we encourage you to incorporate a local viewing this workshop into your own programming for current spiritual directors and those interested in becoming directors. Find a space to gather (e.g. at your parish or school) and participate in this workshop online as a group. Only the leader need register for the conference. In addition to watching the workshop, plan time for discussion after the workshop ends. Our mission at the Office of Ignatian Spirituality (OIS) is to make opportunities like this available to as many people as possible in the spiritual direction community. If you have questions, or if we can help you incorporate this into your own programming, please let us know.

About the Presenter:

Rev. David C. McCallum, SJ, Ed.D.
Vice President For Mission Integration and Development
Assistant Professor of Leadership and Management
Le Moyne College





David McCallum, SJ, Ed.D., is a Jesuit priest who serves as the Vice President for Mission Integration and Development at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. He is an assistant professor of Management and Leadership, and served as both the interim dean of the Madden School of Business at Le Moyne, and the interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Le Moyne. His education includes a BA in English with Integral Honors from Le Moyne College, an M.A. in Philosophy from Fordham University, an M.Div. and a Pontifical License in Theology from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology, and an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University. Fr. McCallum serves as a facilitator for non-profit and educational strategic planning, provides developmentally informed coaching, and delivers leadership development programs and spiritual retreats internationally. He helped to found the Jesuit Collaborative and the Contemplative Leaders In Action programs for the Northeast Province of the Society of Jesus. He also helped to found and lead the Mission Integration Institute at the University of San Diego. His research interests include adult learning and development, group relations, leadership and organizational development, collaborative developmental action research, mission integration, and spiritual maturation.
